BE CAUTIOUS Do not start any routine that advocates training with barbells before fully understanding proper form for each exercise. There are plenty of really good guys showing proper form on YouTube - Alan Thrall, Buff Dudes, CanditoTrainingHQ, Omarlsuf to mention a few. Spend some time before each exercise watching proper form, and moving your body through the motion. You'll get to know when it feels wrong. Start as light as possible, and progress slowly. Listen to your body. Seek a professional if you are unsure. WHY TOUGHEN EXISTS When I first got into training, keeping track of all the tedious stuff that goes along with lifting - my calorie split, workout schedule and progression, plus my measurements and progress photos - was not what I wanted to spend my time doing. I wished for an app that would simplify it all and let me focus on my lifts. Toughen is the result.
